Consistently at the forefront of emerging technology and media, Dr. Alison Horstmeyer has built next generation businesses from the ground floor for multi-billion entities such as Walmart, Dolby Laboratories, NBC Universal, Liberty Media, and Omnicom. From there, Alison evolved into a leading-edge talent development facilitator and executive coach, speaker, and humanistic researcher, and founded her consulting company, Intrinsic Curiosity. Her research focuses on curiosity and associated mental, emotional, and motivational attributes; and, Alison is considered a pioneering practitioner in workplace curiosity. You can find her work in various peer-reviewed journals and international and domestic business publications including Forbes, Chief Learning Officer, and CEOWORLD Magazine, and in Harvard Business Review Press, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Journal of Humanistic Psychology, Journal of Business Management, and Development and Learning in Organizations publications.

Through Intrinsic Curiosity, Alison partners and works with executives across a diverse set of industry sectors with an emphasis in Technology, Media, and Healthcare; and, has a knack for connecting and working with cross-generational teams and leaders through her unique blend of real-world business acumen and evidence-based practitioner expertise. Alison regularly works with clients on multi-faceted leadership development, healthy team dynamics, and continuous experimentation to ignite innovative approaches and future-forward outcomes. 

Alison also serves as adjunct faculty for USC Marshall School of Business Executive Education and is a frequent guest lecturer for the USC Marshall Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. She has the unique distinction of being the inaugural Research Fellow appointed to the USC Annenberg Center for Third Space Thinking. In addition to her PhD, MS, MBA, Alison is a certified coach, certified EQi 2.0 and SDI facilitator, and certified yoga teacher.
